About this Event
Sessions at 11.30am – 12.15pm and 2 – 2.45pm.
Colchester Castle is so full of incredible artefacts and stories, it can be hard to know where to start.
Our regular, audio described tours provide an introduction to some of the museum’s star objects. During the tour, a member of our team will describe a selection of pieces. This might include the relief design of fighting gladiators on the Colchester Vase, the light bouncing off an Anglo Saxon pendant or the workmanship on a tiny jet figurine.
These sessions have been created with visually impaired visitors in mind, but can be enjoyed by anyone. Participants will be met at the Castle welcome desk and taken on a tour of the ground and first floor galleries.
These tours are suitable for ages 4+.
