About this Event

1 – 2pm

Decolonisation + Democratisation is a free online webinar series exploring how histories are made and shared.

Museum Director, Tristram Hunt will discuss the history of the V&A, which holds collections amassed from across the British Empire and beyond. He will be examining how that heritage is reflected in the V&A’s galleries today, and how the museum is confronting and addressing the issues surrounding those histories. Tristram will be joined by Aspire Black Suffolk Project Manager, Elma Glasgow.

If you have a question for our speakers, email it to and we will do our best to pose as many as we can.

Can’t join us on the day? This webinar will be available to watch back for one year, but only to those who have booked.

This talk is suitable for ages 12+
