About this Event

Sessions at 11.30am – 12.15pm and 2 – 2.45pm

How heavy was a gold torc to wear? What does a piece of Roman mosaic feel like?

Our regular, audio described object handling sessions are a great way of getting closer to history. One of our team will talk through a selection of real and replica objects focused on a particular theme, which for this month is Roman life.

These sessions have been created with visually impaired visitors in mind, but can be enjoyed by anyone wishing to get more hands on. Participants will be met at the Castle welcome desk and escorted to one of our quieter spaces.

This activity is suitable for ages 4+.
