About this Event
Join our Howl-o-ween Trail this October half term from 24 October to 1 November and help solve a spooky medieval mystery.
Pick up a trail sheet during opening hours and explore the Castle in search of clues. Meet a cast of knights, uncover their secrets and use the evidence to work out which one is secretly a werewolf. Along the way, you’ll tackle fun challenges, spot hidden details and discover a few surprising tales from the Castle’s past.
The trail is self-guided, so young detectives can explore at their own pace. Solve the mystery, return your trail sheet and claim a fang-tastic prize!
Suitable for children aged 5 and over.

Tickets
The trail costs £5 per child, which includes a prize on completion.
How to Book
There’s no need to book in advance. Trail sheets can be purchased from the front desk when you arrive.
The trail is an additional activity during your visit to Colchester Castle. Standard museum admission applies for entry to the Castle.
