Suitable for Everyone
Exhibition, Talks and Tours
About this Event
2.30 – 4.30pm
Taking place on every second Saturday of the month these lectures will be delivered by a series of curators, historians and experts. From the oldest forms of adornment to the world of body art, enjoy hot drinks and biscuits while you soak up the wonder of gold, beauty and how even the smallest items we wear – and why we wear them – have the most powerful stories. Our guest speaker this month is Dr. Tim Pestell from Norwich Castle Museum, talking about ‘Adorning an Identity: Recent Research on Viking Age East Anglia’.
We would suggest that these lectures are suitable for age 12+
Entry to the Castle from 2pm
Tickets £7.50 pp or join all 3 Tea + Torcs (in December, January and February) for just £15.
