About this Display

Visual Feast has been created in partnership with Colchester Foodbank and features objects related to harvest time and harvest festival, a period when foodbanks often experience a surge in donations. You can learn more about nutrition and the foods we need to survive and thrive!

The display also reveals how foodbanks support local people in need, for example by providing emergency food parcels. Colchester Foodbank has outgrown its current rented building and sometimes struggles to find space for all the food being donated. Visitors will be able to learn more about their campaign to fund a new home, as well as the different ways to get involved, from giving money to buying food items on their shopping list.
